Kandahar Break
Kandahar Break (94 mins, Dir David Whitney) is a thriller set in Taliban ruled Afghanistan in 1999. The film was shot in Pakistan and Tunisia and stars British actors Shaun Dooley and Dean Andrews alongside Pakistan’s legendary actor Rasheed Naz. The film was distributed in the US and Canada in 2010 by Peacearch Entertainment in Los Angeles, and in the UK by Revolver. The film was also released in Australia and New Zealand by VM Distribution.
The film won the award for Best Feature at The Philadelphia Independent Film Festival 2010, as well as Best Film at The Thrillspy International Film Festival and The Newport International Film Festival. It also screened at the international festivals in Glasgow, Kiev, Mannheim-Heidelberg and Levante (Italy).

George’s Day
George’s Day (12 mins, Dir David Whitney) is a short film starring Michael Byrne (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Braveheart) and Rob Dixon (Wolfman), and won the award for Best Film (under 12 mins) at The Time International Film Festival in 2010. It was also nominated for Best Film at the Rushes Soho Shorts and screened at The New York Short Film Festival, LA Shorts and many more.







Taken Out
Taken Out (12 mins, Dir David Whitney) was our first short film, and led to the director’s nominations for BBC New Filmmaker of the year and the Rushes Soho Shorts Best New Director. The film was screened on BBC3 and featured on the BBC Film Network.
